Kimberly Finger, LICSW
Feeling stuck or unsettled? As a licensed therapist in Washington, I want to help people explore ways to feel better. I believe people are more complex than a diagnosis can capture and that we are incredibly resilient, even when we do not feel that way. I offer a warm and safe environment in which we share in an experience that encourages individuals to express themselves in ways that are authentic and can help them to begin moving forward in life.
Through counseling you can allow yourself to be unguarded and share what is bothering you with someone who can give you their undivided attention and energy. We can explore new ways to approach your concerns, dig deeper for underlying causes and meaning, brainstorm realistic ways to begin making changes as well as stay motivated, and practice identifying and holding on less tightly to those aspects of life that are beyond one's control.
I provide counseling and therapy for a wide variety of individuals, from early adolescents to adults beyond retirement age. My specialties include trauma recovery, attention difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and relationship challenges.
I have a practice in Ellensburg, WA, with day and evening hours. It's important to me that my services are accessible to most everyone, including those who don't have insurance, and that is why I accept private payments along with Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance plans.
